Cold Applied Elastomeric Insulating Boot
Cold Applied Elastomeric Insulating Boot is an unscreened boot for medium
Voltage requirement. Especially used in Transformers, Ring
Main Units, and in Switchgears, these are used wherein the air clearance is limited and
insuffcient for any normal operation of the unit. It gives protection from high humidity ,
Rodents, reptiles like snake, lizards etc and protects against flash over.
It's dielectric and anti-tracking properties are maintained keeping stresses away. These
boots are pre-moulded part and can be easily used to fix and are fitted over the connection
between a cable lug and inline or right-angled equipment bushing. Phase to Earth and Phase to
Phase insulations are maintained. Theses boots are made of EPDM and Silicon.
