Right Angle Cable Terminal Protector (Cable Boot for Ring Main Unit & Transformer)
The Right Angle Cable Terminal Protector Boot is an insulating barrier system which can be used with any indoor and outdoor termination.
This is mostly used on Ring main Unit which is compact enough, and where phase to phase distance is less, this boot acts as an insulation to power cable terminals.
It is also used to on transformer bushing wherein the termination is done at a right angle in accordance to the cable.
The Cable Terminal Protector comprises of an insulating boot, grommets and plug. They moulded both from EPDM and Silicon rubber which is highly insulating and track resistant.
The Cable Terminal Protector can be used for insulating right angle connection.
FEATURES:
- The Cable Terminal Protector has a wide flexibility in voltage rating and conductor cross section (25 to 630sq.mm.).
- Due to the high track resistance and the insulating property of the barrier, the enclosed area remains comparatively small. The live parts moreover are fully protected against air borne contamination which prevents formation of creepage currents.
